Mach Industries is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer, Factory Software to develop the software and data systems connecting manufacturing equipment to factory operations. You will develop integrations between equipment, MES, SCADA, historians, data infrastructure, and engineering applications while helping establish Mach's standards for factory software, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and manufacturing data. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience developing industrial software, manufacturing software, automation software, connected equipment, or industrial data systems
- Strong software development experience with Python, C++, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
- Experience developing and deploying production software applications
- Experience integrating manufacturing equipment, industrial controllers, or edge devices with higher-level software systems
- Experience with industrial and software communication technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, or similar protocols
