About Maven

Maven helps companies retain talent, improve health outcomes, and reduce maternity and fertility costs. We support every path to parenthood: Pregnancy, Fertility, Egg Freezing, Adoption, Surrogacy, Infant Care, Breastmilk Shipping, and Manager Training. Backed by General Catalyst and Sequoia.

About the role

We're looking for a strategic narrative leader to own and evolve Maven's go-to-market narrative. This role owns how Maven explains itself — to the employers and health plans evaluating our platform and care management programs, to clients demonstrating the quantitative and qualitative value of Maven, and to members navigating some of life's most important healthcare decisions. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.

What they're looking for

  • Define and evolve Maven's core narrative, ensuring one coherent story that connects employer value and member experience
  • Shape the overarching narrative for major company moments (e.g., new product launches, strategic partnerships, and other defining company moments)
  • Own narrative for existing clients across key moments to drive stakeholder engagement and partnership expansion
  • Own the primary corporate pitch deck and keep it current with product strategy, clinical evidence, and competitive positioning
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure product positioning lives within a company narrative
  • Translate clinical research, outcomes data, and product capabilities into credible stories that resonate with executive buyers and clients alike
