About the role
Mecka's datasets come from a global network of contributors capturing real-world data, and that network needs to grow by an order of magnitude while acquisition still runs market by market. In this role, you'll build one acquisition engine with shared channels, playbooks, and measurement that every market runs, and you'll run it hands-on, using AI to do what used to take a team. What they're looking for
- 6+ years in growth, including owning supply-side acquisition at a two-sided marketplace, gig platform, or data collection business
- Personally built a multi-channel acquisition engine, scaled it in more than one country, and owned its budget, defending cost of acquisition and activation metrics to leadership
- Runs growth work through AI tools and automations today, with repeatable systems rather than one-off experiments, and a clear view of what shouldn't be automated
- Hired key people and led through a matrix with in-market teams you didn't directly manage
- Based in New York or San Francisco, or willing to relocate, and willing to travel regularly to our markets
- Grew a contributor, annotator, or workforce base at a data collection or AI training data company

Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI.
We design and operate global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.
We work closely with frontier robotics teams to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware.
