About the role
The Field Applications Engineer - Associate plays a vital role in achieving the technical achievements needed to launch products. You will be an important member of our field engineering team. In this position, you will oversee many end-to-end technical tasks, including sophisticated product sample deployments, lifecycle management, addressing technical questions, and other customer interactions.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or science field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science)
- General knowledge of hardware engineering workflows to effectively support Field Application Engineers and recognize operational obstacles
- High technical literacy or equivalent experience with the capacity to continuously adapt to frequently changing technology, product roadmaps and lifecycle dates
- Basic understanding of memory or storage technologies and the related platform technologies (e.g. CPU, GPU, NPU, PMIC…) to assist with technical product questions and configuration requests
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate between customers and internal teams such as Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain
- Strong analytical approach and ability to proactively identify process bottlenecks for automation or workflow improvement
