About the role
Product Engineering at Nuro spans the teams that build the software our vehicles, operators, and partners depend on every day, from the on-road experience of the fleet itself to the routing engine that decides where it goes. As a Product Engineer, you'll join one of these teams and help build the products, tools, and services that turn Nuro's autonomy technology into a system people can operate, trust, and rely on. What they're looking for
- You will design, build, and ship full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web development practices
- You will develop backend services and APIs that integrate with onboard vehicle systems, cloud infrastructure, and external partner platforms
- You will build tools that enable fleet monitoring, vehicle health tracking, maintenance workflows, and operational decision-making
- You will contribute to frontend architecture decisions, component libraries, and shared platform patterns used across the org
- Technical excellence
- You have a strong foundation in software fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and either web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser APIs) or server-side programming (Go, Java, Python, or C++)
