Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Engineering Services seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Designer Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work full-time during the summer and/or part-time during the school year. If you are a current student at an accredited university in the Pullman, WA area looking for an opportunity to develop your electrical design knowledge, learn from industry leading engineers, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!
+ Creating detailed physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, and job estimates under the technical supervision of an engineer.
+ Preparing CAD or Microstation drawings and other project documentation.
+ Providing low-level engineering support to engineers and other support personnel within division.
+ Completing assigned work within agreed upon schedule and budget to a high level of quality.
+ Constructing relay equipment racks for testing purposes on projects and assist with the testing.
+ You are a current student pursing a degree in EET, CAD, Drafting, or relevant discipline.
