About the role
The first account manager at Pocket. Most people use Pocket for work, and most of them bought it themselves - the same path the big collaboration tools took before they went company-wide. Team plans are the next step. They only pay off if a team that starts with Pocket keeps using it, adds seats and renews, and nobody owns that yet. You do. Once a company signs, the account is yours: you get it live, grow it and renew it, and you write down how Pocket does account management as you go. What they're looking for
- You've owned a book of business accounts: onboarding, expansion and renewals, with numbers to show for it
- 2+ years in account management or customer success at a B2B software or hardware company
- You've run rollouts: devices shipped, admins set up, growing usage of the product
- AI-native: LLMs and automations are how you work
- Data-minded: you know activation, usage and renewal dates for every account, and you act on them
