About the role
The Electrical Designer 2 will provide electrical and mechanical design services to support engineering projects. This role is integral to ensuring the development of accurate and high-quality technical designs for a variety of electrical and structural engineering applications. Protection and control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, elementaries, and interconnection diagrams.
What they're looking for
- Associate degree in Computer Aided Design or Engineering Technology
- 5+ years of experience in electric utility substation design or industrial medium voltage systems design
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must wear appropriate and mandated PPE including arc-flash suit, safety glasses, hard hat, respirator, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, etc
