About the role
Axon equips the world's public safety agencies with technology that captures truth, improves accountability, and protects lives. Our products run from body-worn cameras that de-escalate critical encounters to in-car systems, interview room solutions, mobile apps, and a growing set of signals and sensors. How officers stay connected in the field is central to all of it, and that is where the next opportunity sits.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years in product management, with a track record of driving growth in technical product lines that combine hardware and software, ideally deployed in the field at scale
- Direct experience shipping both hardware and software products, and comfort owning the full device plus platform experience rather than one layer of it
- Experience taking a new hardware product from 0 to 1, from early concept through launch and into market traction
- 4+ years leading and building product teams, setting strategy that shipped and moved the business
- Credibility with senior engineering leaders across embedded, firmware, and cloud domains, and the judgment to make trade-offs where field performance matters more than feature count
- The ability to lead without formal authority, bringing executives, engineering, and external partners to one roadmap despite competing priorities
