About the role
Lead the design, evaluation, and deployment of our production photogrammetry pipeline, including feature detection, structure from motion (SfM), multi-view stereo (MVS), and mesh reconstruction. Drive integration and evaluation of emerging 3D reconstruction approaches, such as Gaussian splatting and foundation 3D models (e.g., MASt3R/VGGT), ensuring high performance at scale.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of professional experience building, shipping, and operating 3D Computer Vision or 3D Machine Learning systems in production
- Technical depth across core 3D perception domains (SfM, MVS, SLAM, mesh texturing, depth estimation)
- Proven experience with agentic development and modern AI coding tools
- Experience setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and a strong interest in expanding into people management
- Proficiency in C++ for performance-critical execution, along with fluency in modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)
