About the role
The Cloud Service Engineer will support Servigistics products and their underlying infrastructure within the PTC private cloud. The primary focus of this role is the ongoing maintenance, security, stability, and operational readiness of hosted environments, with particular emphasis on operating system patching, maintenance planning, patch execution, validation, and compliance.
What they're looking for
- Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and Linux system administration
- Experience with operating system patching, system maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Understanding of patch planning, maintenance windows, change coordination, and post-maintenance validation
- Experience maintaining and configuring Apache, Java, and Tomcat
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Basic Oracle database knowledge, including select, insert, delete, and join commands
