About the role
Qnity is seeking a First Line Manager (FLM). This individual will serve as the primary leadership presence during assigned shifts, providing 24/7 operational oversight across manufacturing and maintenance operations. This highly visible role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of production activities while maximizing workforce effectiveness, equipment uptime, and operational performance.
What they're looking for
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial, refinery, power generation, or related operational environment
- Experience leading production operations and coordinating cross-functional teams in a 24/7 operation
- Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing workforce allocation, production priorities, and operational problem-solving
- Ability to make effective decisions in fast-paced, changing production environments
