The role partners with Equipment Engineers and Process Technicians to troubleshoot process anomalies, conduct data‑driven experiments, and implement improvements that reduce defects, enhance process control, and increase throughput. In addition to technical troubleshooting, the role requires rapid containment of critical fab quality events, use of 8D reports to drive root‑cause, and defines corrective and preventive actions to safeguard product quality. The engineer also supplies technical leadership—training junior staff, supporting technology‑node transfers, and maintaining clear, adaptable communication that challenges assumptions and prioritizes continuous improvement.
