About the role
As a member of the core infrastructure team, you will be responsible for architecting the next generation of the Moveworks AI infrastructure. As Moveworks grows fast, the infrastructure team is tasked with designing and operating reliable and resilient foundational services as well as frameworks that allow our product to scale seamlessly and our engineering teams to build customer facing features very rapidly. What they're looking for
- BS+ in computer science or a related field
- Strong problem solving skills and programming fundamentals in at least one backend language such as Java, Go, Python, C++, etc
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
- Familiarity with building RESTful APIs/services, request/response handling, error handling, and distributed service architecture
- Good understanding of concurrency, networking, scalability, caching, messaging, containers, and cloud platforms
- Experience working with and operating open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Istio, etc. is a plus
