About the role
SK hynix is seeking a dedicated Local Community Engagement Specialist to support our Corporate & Public Relations efforts at our state-of-the-art semiconductor facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. This role is a critical frontline role focused on building authentic, lasting relationships between SK hynix and the local community — including residents, schools, nonprofit organizations, and city and state government officials.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field experiences of at least 3 years
- Strong verbal communication, comfortable approaching new people
- Basic PowerPoint proficiency, clear writing and documentation
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings/weekends)
- Detail-oriented, diplomatic, and tactful
- Preferably local to the Greater Lafayette area
