About the role
As part of the SpaceX EHS Team, you will provide timely, clear, and high-quality technical expertise and assist in the implementation of all environmental, health, and safety programs for the construction, expansion, and operation of SpaceX's advanced AI infrastructure and large-scale compute facilities. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in both environmental and occupational safety, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in the design, development, and operational oversight of environmental, health, and safety programs, ideally in high-tech manufacturing, data centers, or industrial construction environments
- Master's and/or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or aerospace) with emphasis on occupational health and safety
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of process safety management, high-power electrical systems, liquid cooling infrastructure, and chemical delivery systems common in large-scale compute facilities
- Strong knowledge and experience interpreting, applying, and documenting federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
