About the role
You will be one of the cornerstones of deploying our technology in industrial environments. Your work will alternate between on-site visits (factories, client labs) and hands-on lab work at Spore , where you’ll help validate and improve microbiological protocols.

Today, the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries face increasing pressure to guarantee microbiological safety at every stage of production. Contamination risks are not only costly, they are a major public health issue .
According to the WHO, over 600 million people suffer from foodborne illnesses each year, resulting in 420,000 deaths globally. For industries producing what we eat, apply to our skin, or inject into our bodies, detecting pathogens early and reliably is absolutely critical.
Yet traditional microbiology is slow, manual, and often reactive . Results take days, protocols vary between labs, and contaminants are sometimes detected too late , once products have already left the factory.
