We are hiring an experienced Spotter to safely move and position trailers throughout a busy warehouse and distribution facility. This position is responsible for transporting trailers to and from loading docks and staging areas, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining safe and efficient yard operations. We are hiring an experienced Spotter to safely move and position trailers throughout a busy warehouse and distribution facility. - Safely move and spot trailers at designated loading docks and staging areas.
- Attach the drive unit to trailers and transport trailers to and from dock doors.
- Inspect trucks and equipment before and after use and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Operate power industrial equipment when required and properly trained.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and transportation teams.
- Complete required paperwork, reports, and computer-based tasks.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient yard environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
