As a member of the Toast Delivery Services team, you will build the software that turns a tap on a phone into a hot meal at someone's door. Our systems find a driver, price the delivery, and keep everyone honest about where the food is right now. This is software with a physical world attached: the clock is always running, the map is never perfect, and every decision your code makes shows up as a real person waiting on their dinner. - Knowledge of Kotlin, Java or another object-oriented language
- Experienced with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) including schema design and optimization
- In-depth understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise messaging
