About the role
The Conversational Agents Organization at Twilio is building the bridge between AI agents and the Twilio platform. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Agent Implementations team. This role will lead the team responsible for building and operating best in class agents that power Twilio’s own business workflows. If you’re interested in helping spearhead Twilio’s internal AI transformation this role is for you!
What they're looking for
- 5+ years hands on experience as an engineer writing production-grade code in a modern programming language (language agnostic)
- 3+ years of experience directly supervising teams of engineers across different disciplines
- Experience fostering a culture of technical excellence and guiding a team through technical design decisions
- Proven track record of shipping products to production, testing ideas early with customers and iterating rapidly on their feedback
- Strong customer focus, our feedback loop with customers will be very tight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Our ideas will only be as good as our ability to share them
