About the role
Twitch Security Platform builds and operates the foundational software, data, and automation that enable security at scale across Twitch. As a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) on the Security Platform team, you will design, build, and operate critical services, pipelines, and tooling that power Twitch's security, privacy, and compliance programs.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years building and operating production backend services with end-to-end ownership (design, deploy, operate)
- Deep fluency in a modern language (Go, Java, Python, or similar)
- Hands-on AWS: designing, deploying, and operating production services or pipelines, with IaC and safe rollout
- Comfort driving clarity in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- A track record of leading technical projects that span multiple services and parallel workstreams
