About the role
- Act as a central point of contact at Waabi for specific vehicle platform requirements and related tests and communicate updates, progress and potential roadblocks to stakeholders at all levels - Help drive Waabi’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across all supporting teams at Waabi including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software
What they're looking for
- - Undergrad required, Masters or PhD within an engineering discipline preferred
- - 3+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience
- - Experience with requirements-specifications and metrics
- - Experience with executing complex vehicle test campaigns
- - Experience with methods and standards such as ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and / or UL 4600
- - Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics and basic understanding of vehicle dynamics

- Own the creation, documentation, alignment and verification of vehicle platform requirements at Waabi and define ways for how to describe and evaluate them efficiently and effectively
- Bring an in-depth understanding of sensors, compute and actuators used in self-driving vehicles and drive an architecture with requirements that generate a simple yet very safe highly autonomous vehicle platform
