What they're looking for
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Accounting Tenure : 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial focus on revenue recognition in a SaaS, software, or technology environment
- ASC 606 Expertise : Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 as applied to SaaS and subscription models, including multi-element contracts, variable consideration, modifications, and renewals
- GAAP & Reporting : Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Agentic AI Fluency : Demonstrable ability to leverage agentic AI tools (such as Claude Code) to automate accounting and revenue workflows — specifically invoicing and revenue recognition
- Systems Depth : Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or comparable cloud ERP) and Salesforce, including revenue management workflows
