About the role
Drive triage accuracy and routing. Run the triage reviews that get defects, high-severity live-service issues and safety-critical events accurately classified and routed to the downstream teams that act on them. Measure and improve triage health. Track throughput, misclassification, latency, backlog aging, automation coverage and regulatory-reportable issues, and use them to flag risks early and give leadership decision-ready updates.
What they're looking for
- Data fluency: experience writing your own queries and dashboards on high-volume issue or operational data, and a track record of using metrics to change how work runs
- Tool-builder disposition: experience building light tooling to run your own program, and partnering with engineering to automate manual work
- Stakeholder leadership and communication: proven ability to align teams without direct authority and give leadership clear, concise updates
- Structure from ambiguity: a track record of breaking a complex or ambiguous problem or goal into workstreams, milestones and owners
- Autonomous vehicle, robotics or other safety-critical experience, ideally with simulation, log replay or regression testing
- Experience program-managing internal tools or automation through to adoption

Zoox is building a full-stack autonomous mobility solution from the ground up. The System Behavior Analysis team is the front line for triage of driving events and software issues from our vehicle fleet and large-scale simulation, turning that data into engineering signal.
As the Technical Program Manager for System Behavior Analysis, you will sit in our Platform SW Integration organization and treat triage as a systems and data problem. Triage sits in the middle of a larger loop, from the fleet and simulation through engineering fixes to validation and release. You will partner with software development, software integration, QA, safety, product, vehicle operations and the Program Management Office.
